En el verde monte adentro es un proyecto que aborda la tensión entre memoria y desaparición del paisaje. El trabajo parte de imágenes digitales que fijan los contornos de un entorno natural, para después ser intervenidas con óleo y médiums ecológicos, transformando lo fijo en algo incierto, lo estable en algo en tránsito.
In the green mountain inside is a project that addresses the tension between memory and disappearance of the landscape. The work starts from digital images that fix the contours of a natural environment, to then be intervened with oil and ecological mediums, transforming the fixed into something uncertain, the stable into something in transit.
La pintura se convierte en un estrato que interfiere con la nitidez digital, como si la memoria misma —frágil y fragmentaria— cubriera poco a poco lo que un día fue claro. Cada capa pictórica actúa como huella y como borrado, evocando tanto la erosión del tiempo como el impacto del cambio climático sobre el territorio.
El resultado es una serie de piezas que funcionan como paisajes en transición, donde lo sólido se fragmenta y lo efímero pugna por permanecer. En ellos conviven lo digital como estructura y lo pictórico como interrupción, creando un espacio intermedio donde el espectador se enfrenta a la pregunta de cuánto de ese monte —y de nuestra memoria de él— puede aún resistir.

The painting becomes a stratum that interferes with the digital sharpness, as if memory itself —fragile and fragmentary— gradually covered what one day was clear. Each pictorial layer acts as a trace and as erasure, evoking both the erosion of time and the impact of climate change on the territory.
The result is a series of pieces that function as landscapes in transition, where the solid fragments and the ephemeral struggles to remain. In them coexist the digital as structure and the pictorial as interruption, creating an intermediate space where the spectator faces the question of how much of that mountain —and of our memory of it— can still resist.
