MINI PAISAJES
Mini Paisajes surge como un primer ensayo para trasladar la imagen digital al territorio de la pintura mediante la técnica del transfer de tóner. Este procedimiento, de carácter rudimentario y manual, funciona como bisagra entre ambos mundos, la imagen impresa se adhiere por fricción y disolución sobre un soporte preparado con acuarela, aceptando el riesgo del error, la pérdida parcial y la transformación matérica.
Mini Paisajes emerged as a first attempt to transfer the digital image into the territory of painting through the toner-transfer technique. This procedure, rudimentary and manual in nature, functions as a hinge between both worlds: the printed image adheres by friction and dissolution onto a support prepared with watercolor, accepting the risk of error, partial loss and material transformation.
El resultado son pequeños fragmentos de paisaje que ponen la atención en la tensión entre lo gráfico y lo pictórico, entre la precisión de lo digital y la fragilidad del gesto manual. La acuarela aporta atmósferas cromáticas imprevisibles, mientras que el transfer introduce contornos interrumpidos, huellas y zonas de ausencia. En este cruce, lo que en pantalla era una figura nítida se convierte en un rastro, en una imagen incompleta que exige una mirada cercana y contemplativa.
La escala reducida refuerza esta intimidad. Cada obra actúa como una ventana mínima, un archivo sensible donde se registran la presión de la mano, la intensidad del pigmento y la materialidad del error. Más que representar un paisaje, estas piezas lo evocan como construcción fragmentaria y cultural, donde lo natural y lo digital conviven en tensión, produciendo imágenes irrepetibles si las quisiésemos duplicar y cargadas de presencia.

The result is small fragments of landscape that draw attention to the tension between the graphic and the pictorial, between the precision of the digital and the fragility of the manual gesture. The watercolor provides unpredictable chromatic atmospheres, while the transfer introduces interrupted contours, traces and areas of absence. At this crossing, what on the screen was a sharp figure becomes a trace, an incomplete image that demands a close, contemplative gaze.
The reduced scale reinforces this intimacy. Each work acts as a minimal window, a sensitive archive where the pressure of the hand, the intensity of the pigment and the materiality of error are recorded. More than representing a landscape, these pieces evoke it as a fragmentary and cultural construction, where the natural and the digital coexist in tension, producing unrepeatable images if we were to try to duplicate them and charged with presence.
